My sibling lives in this old property downtown and she’s been there for years now… The place is a major fixer upper, if you want to really know the truth. I can’t actually believe that she even obtained the site, although she seems to savor it. She likes to say that the property has superb bones, whatever that means. She has been working on fixing it up a little bit at a time although she doesn’t want to go into debt. That’s why she’s attempting to pay money as she goes so she will not have to utilize her credit cards. Anyway, a single one of the things that she knew she was going to have to fix in the property is the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment. She actually should have started with doing the renovations on that initially, because there’s a rather odd aroma in the ventilation ducts. Every single time that she turns on the heating or cooling equipment, an odd yucky aroma comes out of the HVAC vents. I keep on telling her that she should get the vents professionally cleaned however she’s just been trying to save up her money. Now, she’s finally to the point where she’s going to get new central a/c equipment and an electric heating system as well. I told her that as long as she’s going to have the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment contractor at her site, she might as well go ahead and have them professionally wash out the ductwork system, too. I think that it might save her a good amount of money on maintenance fees since it would save them a trip to her property in the Heating, Ventilation & A/C truck. Hopefully once the system of ductwork gets cleaned out, the odd aroma will go away!
