My fiance and I have our preferences between slow and fast

My fiance plus I both appreciate cooking substantially plus whoever has had the least stressful day will most often take charge of preparing supper! This is also the source of our most heated fights.

She easily prefers to minimize cooking time while I prefer slow-cooking methods. When she cooks, we most often have hamburgers, fish, stir fry, or salad that was made too fast. When I cook, we are able to enjoy roasts, stews, or slow-cooked sauces for my excellent pasta dishes. Our fights commonly happen when she tries to speed cook items that are absolutely best when cooked slowly! I once caught her trying to fast cook a beef brisket on the grill not so long ago. Another point of quarrel between us is our Heating plus Air Conditioning machine. We both work at pressing jobs so she believes it is better to turn the HVAC machine off while we aren’t home. I like to leave it running so we don’t have to face a chilly residence in the winter season or a stifling warm residence after a long day at work. I task outside most of the day, so I look forward to relief immediately when I come home. With her office work, my fiance doesn’t seem to mind a few hours or so of discomfort waiting for the residence to reach a reasonable temperature. At first, I had to allow her preference because it costs so much to keep the Heating plus Air Conditioning machine running all day. An AC machine is truly more efficient running at full blast, so it is better to crank it up after we get back to our residence than to let it run all day at a much lower speed. Our fights about cooking will likely never be resolved it seems, however next week we will be getting a programmable temperature control that will automatically turn on our Heating plus Air Conditioning machine before we arrive home. And yes, I’m still not very happy about that brisket.
