When my sibling died, her ex wife took everything from the house

My sibling was sick with cancer for several years before she finally died, then she didn’t want anyone to see him suffer, so she alienated himself away from all of the family.

She rarely talked to anyone and she didn’t answer the iPhone or emails; Once a month, I drove over to the house to check on him… The last time I went to see my sibling, she didn’t look easily good, then i thought it might be the last time that I tell my sibling how much I care about him so I used the time wisely! Sure enough, it was the last time I saw my sibling or spoke to him.

She died several days after I went to visit, and when my sibling died, her ex-wife came to the house and took everything. She took a safe with currency, guns, and documents. She took all of her furniture and sold her car the same morning. I guess that the will was inside of the safe. The ex wife claimed that my sibling left everything to her in her dying breath. We didn’t have any way to prove otherwise, so we had to hire a lawyer to settle the dispute. The probate lawyer took months to hash everything out and we spent a fortune trying to resolve the matter. The only lady who won is the lawyer. She got paid out of the life insurance settlement, my sibling was a good woman and I hope that she is resting peacefully. I know about him everyday and no amount of currency will make myself and others feel better.
