I like the idea of living in a cozy dollhouse, but is that a look that I would get tired of? My friend lives in a contemporary condo near the beach, and I love it when I walk in there.
I live in a townhouse; I love the little neighborhood where I live. It is close to all the necessities of life without being in a noisy area of town. The biggest problem I have with where I live is the townhouse itself. It is small and a bit oddly shaped, so I am at a loss as to the best way to furnish it. I have always needed interior design help because I can’t come up with my own interior design ideas. I know that I can’t put really big furniture into my place because it will take up all the room and look out of place. I don’t even know what style I really prefer. Is Fifth avenue style for me? Do I prefer Italian furniture or European furniture? I simply don’t know. I like the idea of living in a cozy dollhouse, but is that a look that I would get tired of? My friend lives in a contemporary condo near the beach, and I love it when I walk in there. Everything seems so sleek and polished, but it lacks warmth, and I am a warm person. Then again, having wood furniture, which the interior design ideas magazine says adds warmth to any home, seems uncomfortable and masculine. I like sectionals, but they are simply too large for my space, as are the sofas I see in most of the stores. I think the best idea is to get some interior ensign help and hire someone to make me custom built furniture.
