Air filters make a big difference

I always thought that marriage was the most difficult and rewarding part of life.

I wanted to create a family with someone I loved and I knew that it would be a challenge. But, then again, no one ever told me about the difficulties of HVAC ownership. When I got married my folks gave me a lot of pointers about the undertaking. But no one ever bothered to tell me what it was like to be a homeowner. This is why I never learned about heating, cooling, and air quality until it almost ended my marriage. I learned last month, you can’t just leave your central air purifier, AC unit and boiler system unattended and expect them to keep operating like new. You have to pay for regular maintenance appointments for your indoor air handling devices if you want to make sure that your heating, cooling, and air quality control system keeps running efficiently. I learned that if you don’t consistently clean and maintain your indoor air temperature control devices, you might actually be causing bigger problems. I’m talking about tons of high energy bills and emergency heating and cooling repair appointments. Essentially, an unmaintained heating and cooling system is a super expensive heating and cooling system waiting to happen. And it all starts with a clean air filter. That’s right, you don’t even need to call a professional HVAC technician to work on your own indoor air quality improvements. You just need a new air filter, swapped out on a 2 month basis to keep your HVAC system happy. I never worried about my AC unit or furnace before, but knowing that there’s something I can do at home really helps ease my mind.
