When my girlfriend and I had our 6 month anniversary, I decided to ask her to move into my apartment. We were practically spending every single day together and it didn’t make sense to continue spending all of our money on gas. It was a 32 mile trip from my place to her apartment and both of our jobs were closer to my place. We almost always stayed at my apartment so I thought it was a great idea for the two of us to cohabitate. We probably should have waited longer than 6 months, but my girlfriend moved in a couple of weeks ago. Things have been shaky times, but I am genuinely happy that we are living together. I love coming home from work in the afternoon because my girlfriend makes a beautiful dinner every single night. I used to eat takeout and now I get to enjoy gourmet dinners. My girlfriend and I do have a couple of arguments from time to time and most of them are due to the indoor air temperatures. I always keep the thermostat set to 68 degrees and I like when my apartment feels like a cold storage locker. My girlfriend likes the thermostat set at 72 degrees and she constantly complains that the indoor air temperatures are too cold. We have had a couple of arguments about the thermostat, but we always manage to find a way to compromise. I don’t mind coming up a little, but I don’t want to sit around the apartment and sweat if I can afford to pay for the heating and cooling bills.
