A lot of people suffer from test and performance anxiety.
This is a official issue that plagues 65% of people in some way, shape, or form.
I have regularly suffered from poor test anxiety. My mom and I could learn flashcards all night long. I would recognize the material at the drop of a question! At test time, I froze up and our mind went blank. I had sweaty palms and I could feel our heart beat getting faster and faster. It was bad and I hated school. My teachers tried lots of things to get me interested in Math, English, and writing, although I easily had a hard time and I often faked being sick so I could stay beach lake house from school. If our mom made me go to school, I would spend half the day in the nurse’s office. I never wanted to go to college, so I decided to learn a trade. I went to a technical school to learn heating and AC repair work in our 10th, 11th, and 12th grade years. I still found it hard to learn and study, but most of the Heating and A/C technical classes required me to take a test with our hands or orally, but not that many of our teachers made an exception when I could not pass the written test. It helped me pass school, although I found it incredibly hard to pass the test when I had to take the exam to get our certification and Heating and A/C services. I had to take the certification test 3 times! Each time I did better, although I did not pass until the third time. I’m glad that is the last time that I have to take a written test.
