For more than 2 weeks now, I’ve watched our utility bill rise slowly.
It got so disappointing that I had to call an Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional to help me because I thought there was something wrong internally with our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, however when the Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional came to my home, I explained the rising utility costs and I told him about my control component USAge; She agreed that I was using my control component appropriately and that my utility costs shouldn’t have been as high as they were.
She spent the morning looking at my Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, but she couldn’t find anything that would be causing such a high utility bill. She said there were no leaks in the HVAC duct, the air filter was clean, and everything was where it should be. Before she left, she advocated that I try a smart control unit, because it would help me run the system more efficiently and alert me to anything abnormal. I went out and bought a smart control component that day because I was desperate. I downloaded the corresponding app to my cellphone and tinkered with the settings, however on Sunday, while I was at work, my smart control component told me that someone had made a drastic change to the temperature. The only woman beach house was my son, and she set the control component 8 degrees warmer! Instead of decreasing the temperature back on my cellphone, I decided to wait to see what would happen, and sure enough, right before I left for work, my kid had lowered the temperature back to the original settings, now I knew the reason for my rising utility bills.
