Our HVAC technician ended up helping us save almost twenty percent on our heating and cooling repair bills this past year.
The only thing that we had to do to save money was put a sign for the HVAC company in our front yard for a few months.
At first, my wife was totally against doing that. She said that it made our yard look cheap and tacky and she wanted me to take it down. I told her that I was cheap and tacky and because I was so cheap, I wanted to save twenty percent on our heating and cooling repair bills. She just rolled her eyes and started parking her car in front of the sign so that it couldn’t be seen from the street. I honestly think that she’s being ridiculous about the whole thing because who really cares if you have a sign for an HVAC company in your yard? I think she really reads too much into it and she also worries too much about what other people think. I think that it’s a great marketing plan to have your HVAC customers put a sign for your business in their yards. That way, your neighbors realized that you trust their business to work on your furnace or air conditioning system and they will probably want to take a chance on using your company too. And as far as the twenty percent savings go, I’ll take it! I told my wife that to save twenty percent on our last giant furnace repair bill, I would dress up in a bear suit and turn cartwheels through the yard with that HVAC sign. She didn’t think that was funny at all.
