I don’t usually go on yard sales, but recently I decided to go with my wife because she said her friends weren’t available to go with her.
I wanted to just relax in the car with the A/C cranked on while she browsed the yard sales, but then she signaled me to come out and check something out.
At this particular yard sale, they were selling a whole-house air purification system for really cheap. I talked to the home owner and asked if there was anything wrong with the whole-house air purification system. He said there was nothing wrong with it and it ran like a champ. When he saw I was still a little bit skeptical, he said he could plug it in to show me how well it worked. So he plugged the thing in and it seemed to be working just fine. I wanted to know why he was letting it go for so cheap and then he let me know that he had just upgraded his whole HVAC system. He had a ductless mini split installed with multiple zones. He said that the ductless mini split actually had its own built in air purification and he no longer needed the whole home air purifier. It finally all made sense to me and I thought it would be foolish for me to pass up such a great deal. So I right away purchased the whole-house air purifier and I was eager to get home so that I could hook it up. I was actually able to install it to work right along with my HVAC system and it works great.
