For the last year, our wife plus I have been trying to figure out what to do with our oil furnace.
- We have a boiler in our lake house which heats the beach house plus our water.
The boiler is now well over forty years aged plus it is giving us some trouble. It is not a fantastic time to go to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C center plus get the parts our wife thinks she needs for the boiler. We are in our sixties plus she is afraid of the coronavirus. Repairs that should have been done this year are now going to wait. We are both worried that our oil furnace will not get us through the entire winter. I am absolutely cheerful that we didn’t have the fireplace removed as we had planned. We had discussed having the fireplace removed because it took up so much space in the study room. We thought the space could be much nicer if we didn’t have the fireplace. Now, we are discussing what kind of Heating, Ventilation & A/C idea we wanted to have in our house. My wife had been giving some serious thought to just ripping the aged heating idea out plus installing ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C. She seems to suppose that would be a charming option for us. The ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C idea she is looking at has a fifteen year warranty, plus they say it will have high efficiency. I guess we must see if the boiler continues to labor through the Wintertide before she decides. I just hope we don’t regret the decision to wait until Springtime plus then find out we have no option however to purchase a new Heating, Ventilation & A/C system.
