My wife plus I made the decision to convert our garage into an outdoor living space! We wanted an extra guest room for the holidays, when family would visit plus stay for multiple days.
- We sketched the blueprints plus made all of our plans.
We picked out the paint, flooring, plus a couple of new light fixtures. We added a small lavatory to the area with a toilet plus a shower. My wife plus I were planning to get larger Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment to heat plus cool the added indoor space. We made an appointment with a Heating, Ventilation & A/C company to speak about our options. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C company had a pretty good idea for our project. Instead of upgrading the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment to a larger piece of equipment, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C company recommended that we add a ductless mini split to the garage. A ductless mini split includes 2 separate pieces of equipment. The mini split Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment was an enjoyable choice for the space, however my wife plus I did not know it would be affordable. After careful thought plus consideration, my wife plus I made the choice to take the advice of the HVAC company. We bought mini split Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment that is able to heat plus cool the area properly. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C company installed the equipment in approximately half a day. It would have cost us thousands of dollars to upgrade our central Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment, however the mini-split ductless equipment was genuinely affordable. My wife plus I saved enough cash to add a hot tub on the back patio. It looks fantastic plus feels amazing after a long day of work.
