Actually attending a group fitness class

I have been looking into group fitness training classes.

I just can’t seem to get motivated to work out by myself. After work I feel like a lazy slug. I just want to lay on my couch, watch netflix and snack. Dressing, driving and deciding what to do at the gym is just exhausting. More often than not I just don’t go. I think if I signed up to do group fitness, I might actually attend. If there is a personal trainer expecting me and a class of women ready to work with me, I should be more apt to go. I am hoping I like working out better in a group too. When I am by myself it is really easy to half do my exercises. I like to walk on the treadmill rather than run. I am really quick to skip the weightlifting section and to read while on a stationary bike. Perhaps if the other women in class were running, crunching and trying really hard, I would too. I know that some certified fitness experts pair people up in class. You use medicine balls, battle ropes, weighted poles or do partner crunches together. Maybe I would do better with a buddy right on top of it. If all else fails, having a fitness expert watch over me would help. The guy might be able to get me to work harder and perhaps I am doing exercises wrong. Now the last step is actually signing up for the classes and attending the first one. That is going to be a huge hurdle for me to jump over.
