These youngsters are killing me; hiring Heating & A/C techs

When I decided to open my own business I thought that the most strenuous area would be managing the books & the finances… I have never been the type of man who is seriously concerned with numbers or comfortable with keeping detailed records, then honestly, I am nice at laboring with my hands & thinking mechanically.

I am really not an accountant by trade nor do I have any interest in playing with numbers all day. That being said, I also never considered the problem of trying to manage human beings before. It turns out, keeping a fleet of supposed professional heating, cooling, & ventilation servicemans on task is a lot more strenuous than managing the books, when I was first opening my air quality control dealership I actually thought that I was hiring top notch heating, cooling, & ventilation professionals from the local trade school. I would get to the most recent Heating & A/C certification graduates as soon as they had obtained their heating & cooling degree. I made sure to hire the Heating & A/C servicemans who had the best test scores in the heating & cooling maintenance program. However, they don’t test their heating & cooling servicemans for real world problem solving or professional skills. To this day, I spend more time chasing around my Heating & A/C servicemans then I spend on the financial aspects of the company. If my heating & cooling servicemans are not arriving at the Heating & A/C dealership plates, they are getting into fights with other air quality control specialists. If they are not pissing off my regular buyers with rude comments about their Heating & A/C systems, they’re crashing my Heating & A/C toil trucks. When I became an Heating & A/C dealership owner I didn’t know I would also require a horde of youngsters.
